Toketoke is a tiny rocky island to the northwest of Tongatapu in the Pacific . Politically, it belongs to the Kingdom of Tonga .
geography
The Motu is located in the northwest of the archipelago in Maria Bay , roughly at the same latitude as Niu 'Aunofo Point in the west and Tufuka (Tufaka) in the east. further north is ʻAtatā . The reef Kakau Tapu Reef forms the outermost reef rim of Tongatapu in the northwest.
climate
The climate is tropical hot, but is tempered by constantly blowing winds. Like the other islands in the Tongatapu group, Toketoke is occasionally hit by cyclones .
