Tufuka (also: Tufagga , Tufaka ) is a small island in the north of Tongatapu in the Pacific . Politically, it belongs to the Kingdom of Tonga .
geography
The Motu is located in the northwest of the archipelago roughly in line with Niu 'Aunofo Point and Toketoke . Together with the larger ʻAtatā to the north , the island forms the eastern boundary of Maria Bay .
climate
The climate is tropical hot, but is tempered by constantly blowing winds. Like the other islands of the Tongatapu Group, Tufuka is occasionally hit by cyclones .
