Tomáš Hunal (born June 1, 1973 in Prague ) is a Czech football player .
Career
Hunal started playing football at Slavia Prague , and he made his first appearances in the 1st Czechoslovak League as a 17-year-old in the 1990/91 season. In the following season he was loaned to Slavia Mladá Boleslav , then returned to Slavia and was loaned again, this time to Terrex Kladno . He returned to Prague in 1994 and was Czech champion with Slavia in the 1995/96 season. Nevertheless, he moved to Viktoria Žižkov , there the defender was a regular and top performer. He left the club after the 2001/02 season despite a current contract after he had been accused by some teammates of having deliberately shown a poor performance in the final and decisive game of the season.
At the end of August 2002 he was signed by FK Teplice and proved to be one of the best defenders in the Gambrinus League . In early 2007, however, the now 33-year-old was advised to look for a new club, Hunal signed with relegation-threatened FK Marila Příbram , but could not prevent their relegation. In August 2007 Hunal moved to SK Dynamo České Budějovice in the first division, after the 2009/10 season the defender ended his professional career. In August 2010, Hunal joined the fourth division club FK Tábor.
