Tom Gerber (Director)
Tom Gerber (bourgeois Thomas Gerber , * 1977 in Lucerne ) is a Swiss film director and film editor .
Life
Gerber attended the business school in Lucerne from 1990 to 1997, after which he studied English and psychology at the University of Zurich until 1999 . In 1999 he attended a basic audiovisual course at the School of Design in Bern. From 2000 to 2004 he studied film at the Zurich University of the Arts . Since then he has worked as a director for short films and commercials and as a film editor for feature films. In 2012 he directed the feature film Love and Other Accidents for the first time . He is also a lecturer at the Zurich University of the Arts in the fields of film, cast and style & design. Today he lives in Zurich .
