Thomas "Tom" Kohler (born May 19, 1993 in St. Thomas , Ontario ) is a Canadian - Swiss ice hockey player who has played in the Swiss National League B for SC Langenthal since April 2017 .

Career

Except for ten missions that Kohler played for the offspring of the Ticino club HC Lugano in the course of the 2011/12 season and the 2012/13 season, in which he was on the ice for the Bonnyville Pontiacs from the province of Alberta , he played as a youth and while in college in his home province of Ontario . From 2013 to 2017 Kohler studied and played at the University of Guelph west of Toronto . Guelph plays in the Canadian college league CIS .

In April 2017 he signed his first contract as a professional player with SC Langenthal from the Swiss National League B (NLB).
