Tom Sietas

Tom Sietas (born January 12, 1977 in Hamburg ) is the most successful German apnea diver . He is multiple world champion and German champion and has achieved countless world records in all three pool disciplines.

Tom Sietas is also famous worldwide for his spectacular television appearances. In these, he usually demonstrates time diving with pre-breathing of pure oxygen . In January 2006 he was able to improve the 47-year-old "record" in this show discipline . In a live television show in New York on August 9, 2007, it reached a new maximum time of 15 minutes and 2 seconds.
