Tomas Tomasek
Tomas Tomasek (born March 31, 1949 in Hamburg ) is a German German philologist with a focus on German medieval studies.
Since 1993 he has been Professor (C 4) for German Philology (Medieval German Literature) at the Westphalian Wilhelms University in Münster . From 2002 to 2004 he was Dean of the Philosophical Faculty of the University of Münster.
He is head of the DFG project "New edition of ' Tristan ' Gottfried von Straßburg ", which has been running since 2011 .
