Club career
The 1.83 meter tall defender began his professional career in 1987 at Widzew Łódź . He remained loyal to the club until 2000 and completed a total of 281 games / 4 goals in the Ekstraklasa for Widzew. There are also a few games in the Polish Cup, the UEFA Cup and the UEFA Champions League . In 2000 Łapiński moved to Legia Warsaw . However, he was seriously injured and never got back to his old form at Legia, so that he only played a single league game for the capital city.
