Tomasz Nowak (born October 30, 1985 in Kościan , Poland ) is a Polish football player who is currently active in the Polish first division club Górnik Łęczna .

Club career

Nowak started his career at Obra Kościan in his youth, before moving to the juniors of Amica Wronki . After he went through almost all youth teams there, the midfielder went to Kania Gostyń in the spring of 2006 and completed solid performances, so that the first division club Korona Kielce noticed him. After he was no longer part of the first team, Nowak was loaned to the two-time Polish champions Polonia Bytom and made his team debut on September 11, 2009 in the league game against Piast Gliwice . For the 2010/11 season he returned to Korona Kielce, but could not prevail again and was loaned to the second division Górnik Łęczna for the second half . For Łęczna Tomasz Nowak completed 16 games in which he scored 5 goals. His performance convinced the first division club Łódzki KS , so that he was committed. However, he disappointed again in the first half of the 2011/12 season and made 13 league games, mostly as a substitute. In March 2012 he dissolved his contract with Łódzki KS and signed with the Belarusian first division club FK Homel . With the Belarusians he was immediately a regular player and completed 24 league games in which he scored 3 goals. After the 2012/2013 season he returned to Poland and signed with the Polish second division club Górnik Łęczna. After the 2013/2014 season he rose with Górnik Łęczna in the Ekstraklasa , the highest Polish league.

National team

On January 17, 2010 he made his debut in the Polish national football team in a friendly against Denmark (1: 3). On January 23, 2010, he scored his first international goal in a friendly against Singapore (6-1).
