The Tomba del Guerriero ( Italian tomb of the warrior ) was found in 1961 in the Monterozzi necropolis near Tarquinia and was robbed. It probably dates to the second half of the fourth century BC. Chr.

The underground, painted grave chamber consists of only one room, which is reached via a staircase. There are benches carved into the rock on the walls. Murals are on all four walls but are not particularly well preserved. A feast is shown on the back wall. Different people lie on two clinics . There are servants and musicians next to it. Two fighting cocks and two blue panthers are depicted in the gable of the wall. On the right wall you can see a warrior on a horse who gave the tomb its name. Another horse is shown next to it. The whole wall is not well preserved. The left wall, on the other hand, is in comparably good condition. On the far right you can see a table with vases. A discus thrower, a javelin thrower, two trees and then two boxers follow. A smaller flute player is shown between the two. A second flute player is painted on the left end of the wall. On the back wall, where the entrance to the grave is located, two horses pulling a cart are depicted on the right. A rider is sitting on one of the horses, a man is standing in the carriage. To the left of the door is a naked warrior. Figures are also shown on the door reveals. On the right you can see a flute player and on the left an almost completely destroyed figure.
