Tommaso Dazzi

Tommaso Dazzi (* around 1945 in Milan ) is an Italian film producer and director .

Life

Dazzi started as production manager in 1968 and was responsible for two films as executive producer in 1970; in one of them he also took on a role as an actor. In the mid-1980s, he began directing himself, alternating between television and cinema, before concentrating on production again in 1994. From 2006 he achieved lasting success with the loose series of television films about L'ispettore Coliandro .

In 1996 he founded his own company with the production company "Nautafilm", with which he produced feature and documentary works as well as mini-series for Telefrance 1 , RAI and the cinema .

As a documentary filmmaker , he specialized in Italian mannerism .

His daughter Cecilia Dazzi , born in 1969, works as an actress.
