Tommaso Rinaldi (born January 18, 1991 in Rome ) is an Italian diver . He starts in artificial jumping from the 1-meter and 3-meter board as well as with Michele Benedetti in 3-meter synchronized jumping . He jumps for the club GS Fiamme Oro Roma and is trained by his father Domenico Rinaldi , himself a successful water diver and two-time Olympic participant. Tommaso Rinaldi is a sports soldier with the Marina Militare .

Rinaldi celebrated his first international successes at the Junior European Championships in 2006 and 2007. In 2006 he won bronze on the 1-meter board and in 2007 silver in the 3-meter synchronized jumping. In 2011 he took part in international adult competitions for the first time. At the European Championships in Turin he reached seventh place with Benedetti in the 3-meter synchronized jumping. He also took part in the World Championships in Shanghai , he was eliminated from the 1-meter board in the preliminary competition, and in the 3-meter synchronized jumping competition he achieved tenth place with Benedetti.
