Jaakko Tommi Kristian Evilä (born April 6, 1980 in Tampere ) is a 1.94 m tall Finnish long jumper. At the World Championships in Helsinki in 2005 , he won the bronze medal in this discipline.

On August 12, 2005, he achieved his personal best in the long jump qualification with 8.18 m, breaking the 39-year-old Finnish record (8.16 m) set by Rainer Stenius (1966) and Jarmo Kärnä (1989). In the final the day after, he landed at a distance of 8.25 m, but with too much tailwind, so that a new record could not be recognized. Evilä won the bronze medal one centimeter ahead of the Spaniard Joan Lino Martínez , but had to admit defeat to Dwight Phillips (8.60 m) from the USA and the Ghanaian Ignisious Gaisah (8.34 m). It was Finland's first medal in long jump at World Athletics Championships .

In 2007 he jumped 8.41 m at Finnkampen , which, however, was not recognized because of too much tailwind. It was not until June 28, 2008 that he was able to increase the Finnish record to 8.22 m at Finnkampen.
