Tommy Paul (* 4. April 1909 in Buffalo , New York , USA ; † 28. April 1991 ) was an American boxer in the featherweight .

professional

He made his professional debut successfully in Buffalo on August 1, 1927 against Fred Griffiths. On May 26, 1932, he became world champion of the NBA association when he defeated the Portuguese- born Johnny Pena over 15 rounds by a unanimous decision of the judges. Already on January 13th of the following year he lost the title to Freddie Miller by split point decision.
