Tomonobu Yokoyama ( Japanese 横山 知 伸 Yokoyama Tomonobu ; born March 18, 1985 in Tokyo Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player .

Career

Yokoyama learned to play football on the university team at Waseda University . He signed his first contract with Kawasaki Frontale in 2008 . The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . In 2008 and 2009 he was runner-up in the J1 League with the club. For the club he completed 76 first division games. In 2012 he moved to league competitor Cerezo Osaka . For the club, he completed 20 first division games. In 2014 he moved to league competitor Omiya Ardija . At the end of the 2014 season, the club was relegated to the J2 League . In 2015, he became champion of the J2 League with the club and rose again to the J1 League. For the club, he completed 81 league games. In 2017 he moved to league competitor Hokkaido Consadole Sapporo . For the club he completed 26 first division games. In August 2018 he moved to the second division club Roasso Kumamoto . In 2019 he moved to league rivals FC Gifu . At the end of 2019, he ended his career as a football player.
