Tomonori Tateishi ( Japanese 立 石 智 紀 , Tateishi Tomonori ; born April 22, 1974 in Chiba Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .
Career
Tateishi learned to play soccer on the school team at Horikoshi High School . He signed his first contract in 1993 with JEF United Ichihara (today: JEF United Chiba). The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . In 1998 he was loaned to the first division club Avispa Fukuoka . In 1999 he returned to JEF United Ichihara . In 2005 and 2006 he won the J.League Cup with the club . For the club he completed 103 first division games. At the end of 2008 he ended his career as a football player.
