Tongerlo is a beer brand from the Belgian brewery Haacht .

history

The Tongerlo Abbey is a monastery of Norbertine ( Premonstratensian Order ), which was established in 1130 in the south of Belgium. Its own beer was brewed in the monastery for decades.

Today, the Tongerlo brand is produced and marketed by the Haacht family brewery in the Flemish-Brabant town of Boortmeerbeek .
