Tongyu

Tongyu ( 通榆 县 , Tōngyú Xiàn ) is a Chinese urban district in Jilin Province in northeast China . As a district-free city, it is part of the administrative area of the district-free city of Baicheng . It has an area of 8,476 km² and has a population of 350,000 (2004). Its main town is the Kaitong community (开通 镇).
Administrative structure
At the community level, the urban district consists of eight large communities and eight communities (two of which are Mongolian ).
