Toni Barpi

Antonio Barpi (born June 13, 1920 in Feltre , † October 31, 2013 in Treviso ) was an Italian actor .

Life

Barpi played mainly on Venetian dialect stages, but also for thirty years in the ensemble of Cesco Baseggio , with whom he made his debut in 1936. With his colleague and wife Wanda Benedetti he was active in radio broadcasts for many years and played in several television productions between 1954 and 1960. His activities for children took up a lot of space; between 1958 and 1966 he was seen on television in numerous children's programs. His few film appearances also occurred several times for films by Angio Zane aimed at young audiences .
