Tony MacAlpine
Tony Jeff MacAlpine (born August 29, 1960 in Springfield, Massachusetts ) is an American guitarist and keyboardist who combines elements of neoclassical metal and fusion jazz in his music . He is also a classically trained violinist and pianist . Although he is a well-known solo artist, he gained fame mainly through his collaboration with many different musicians and bands, for example Planet X and Steve Vai , in whose live band he plays guitar and keyboard .
