Topsim (own spelling: TOPSIM ) is a brand of Topsim GmbH, under which business simulation games are offered for the training and further education of various target groups, depending on the conception and business focus from trainees to executives .

Products

The players are given the opportunity to run a company and learn about the impact of their decisions, which is intended to prepare them for later leadership roles. There are business games for many different industries, topics and levels of complexity: easyManagement, General Management, Manufacturing Management, Production & Services, Startup, Going Global, People Management, Marketing, Logistics, Destination Management, Hospital Management, Insurance, Universal Banking.

history

Topsim originated in Unicon GmbH, which was founded in 1982. In the 1990s, Unicon developed a series of business simulation games called Topsim in cooperation with some customers. In the same decade, Unicon became the market leader for business games in German-speaking countries. The location in Tübingen was opened at the turn of the millennium . In 2001 Unicon merged with the Tertia Fernakademie and the Tertia Edusoft. From 2005 the company began to gain a foothold outside of the German-speaking area.

In 2006 Tata Interactive Systems took over Tertia Edusoft GmbH and thus also the Topsim brand. Since 2013, the simulation games can also be played as online simulation games in the cloud .

In 2018 Tata Interactive Systems GmbH became Topsim GmbH. In 2018, the listed MPS Ltd took over the company.
