Gate to Serbia ( Romanian Poarta spre Sârbia ) is the name of a metal sculpture by the German sculptor Ingo Glass . It has been in public space since December 1, 2009 in the immediate vicinity of the Michelangelo Bridge in Timișoara ( German  Timisoara ), Romania . Their dimensions are 9 × 5 × 5 meters.

With his work, the artist, who was born in Lugoj and lives in Munich, addresses the good cooperation between Serbia and the historical Banat region . As a representative of Concrete Art , he mainly works with the three basic forms triangle, square and circle, to which colors are assigned. The artist associates the circle as a symbol of life with the color red, which represents the former closed communist block that was blown up by the opening of the gate when the iron curtain fell . The blue square represents calm and meditation, while the “aggressive” triangle is yellow.

Along with the sculptures Hommage a Vasarely and Opening, this work is the third work by Ingo Glass to be exhibited in Timișoara; it was donated to the city by the artist and the Triade Foundation for the Timișoara XXI cultural project . The monetary value of the work of art was given as 30,000 euros.
