Toralf Schnur (born June 9, 1975 in Waren (Müritz) ) is a German politician ( FDP ). From 2006 to 2011 he was a member of the state parliament of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania .

Life

Schnur attended the Goethe School in Waren from 1982 to 1984 and then the Gustav Sobottka School from 1984 to 1990. From 1990 to 1994 he attended Richard-Wossidlo-Gymnasium , where he graduated from high school. He then did military service with the German Armed Forces in Schwalmstadt and Neubrandenburg and then studied law for one year at the University of Rostock . In 1996 he continued his studies at the University of Mainz , where he stayed until 2000. He then studied civil engineering for a year at the Neubrandenburg University of Applied Sciences . He did not finish this either, only in 2001 did he start studying political science and history at the University of Rostock. He finished this in 2006 and began to work as a clerk in the German Bundestag . He is non-denominational, single and has two children.

Schnur is a member of the FDP and was a member of the executive board of the FDP Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. He was district chairman of the FDP in the Müritz district and a member of the local district council . Since the state elections in 2006 , he was a member of the state parliament via the FDP state list of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. He was budget policy spokesman for the FDP parliamentary group. Schnur has been the district chairman of the FDP district association Mecklenburgische Seenplatte since 2012;
