Torben Miehle (born October 3, 1973 in Hamburg ) is a German musician, actor and film director.

Live and act

Miehle grew up with three brothers in Hamburg. First he graduated from school with a secondary school leaving certificate and then went to the Bundeswehr in Flensburg. Miehle took theater lessons while still at school. In 1992 Torben Miehle tried his hand at singing in a rock band. In 1996 Miehle started with the band Great Bitch Babylon . In 1997 the first EP was released under the title Anti-Religion .

In 2001 Torben Miehle switched to the film business. Miehle shot independent productions in which he also acted as an actor, until he finally got his first public film role in 2010 with Vladimir Burlakov for the Sat.1 feature film Marco W. In the prison drama, Miehle plays a fellow inmate of the main actor and was staged because of his tattoos. Further guest appearances in series and feature films followed.

In 2013 Miehle shot a youth drama and Ralf Richter supported his project by stepping back into the role of Kalle Grabowski .

In 2014 Miehle completed a three-year training as a media designer in image and sound.

Until May 2015 Miehle made another slasher film with the title Where Demons Dare , but said goodbye to the independent sector and initially worked in the report, as a journalist and editor. Where Demons Dare also appeared in Austria under the title The Minger and contains additional scenes that are not included in the German publication due to the extreme depictions of violence, as there were fears that the film would be banned in this country. But even the cut version ended up on the index and is therefore on the list of indexed films.

Since November 2018 Miehle has been back in a recording studio and is recording a new rock album. The album will be released in June 2019.

In 2019 Miehle will shoot the pilot for the Mafia series Il patto (A Sicilian Brotherhood). The film is shot in Hamburg and Sicily.
