Archway Nazareth Monastery

The archway of the Nazareth Monastery and the immunity wall are located in the Mariaweiler district of Düren in North Rhine-Westphalia , in the street An Gut Nazareth .

The archway is inscribed in the Keilstein dated to the year 1764. The round arched gateway is made of ashlar . A bas-relief of a crucifix with the date can be seen in the wedge . The corresponding enclosure wall consists partly of bricks , partly of rubble stones . The Augustinian monastery Maria Nazareth was founded at the end of the 13th century.

The building is registered under No. 9/002 in the list of monuments of the city of Düren.
