Torcuato Alfredo Sozio di Tella ( 1918 - July 30, 1976 in Punta del Este ) was an Argentine manager and diplomat .

Life

Torcuato Sozio di Tella was a nephew of Torcuato di Tella . When his two sons Torcuato Di Tella (hijo) and Guido di Tella were still minors, he entrusted Torcuato Alfredo Sozio di Tella with the management of Siam Di Tella . At that time the company had around 6,000 employees.

In December 1973 Juan Perón appointed him ambassador to Moscow . At the beginning of the military dictatorship in 1976 , it was announced that he had drowned while on a short vacation.
