The Torre de Sanitja is a coastal defense tower in the municipality of Es Mercadal on the Balearic island of Menorca .

The tower was built in the years 1800-1802 to protect the harbor entrance by British engineers. It has three floors with an access to the middle floor. Later, a door was installed on the ground floor that gives access to an octagonal room with three chambers covered by barrel vaults. These rooms were used as a powder and spare parts store. The tower is a  listed building  and was registered under RI-51-0008578 in the Register of  Bien de interés cultural  .

Due to the heavy weathering, the structure was partially destroyed over time and can no longer be viewed inside. In 2016, the faction of the Entesa de Mercadal and Fornells regional party submitted an application to the Ministry of the Environment to restore the tower.
