Within the rock formation and the 1.5–2 m high and 2–3 m wide surrounding walls lie the foundation walls of a hut with two hearths, an abri and the actual Torre monument. The somewhat destroyed, round monument, which is based on Nuragic models in plan , is one of the oldest Torrean buildings. It was found covered with the rock of a vault . The access to the cella , which is covered with tiles , rises in steps. Apart from the one in the Torre de Foce, it is the only staircase that has been discovered in a Torrean monument. According to Roger Grosjean , who examined the facility in the 1960s, the half-encircling side niches served cultic purposes. A rock in the middle of the Cella was covered with several layers: The top layer consisted of humus , the second contained stones and clay of the collapsed vault that may had a vent for the fireplace, in the third layer were found numerous fireplaces, grinding and grindstones or their fragments.

Using the radiocarbon method , the last use of the complex was dated to 1907 BC. Another date was 2218 BC. BC, so that this facility was used for about 300 years. The finds, made of ceramics (urns, vases) and a fragment of a bronze sword blade , are kept in the Musee de Prehistoire Corse in Sartène .
