Ardara ( Sardinian : Àldara ) is a municipality in the province of Sassari in the Italian region of Sardinia with 760 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019).

Ardara is located in northern Sardinia, about 160 km north of Cagliari and 25 km southeast of Sassari . The neighboring municipalities are Chiaramonti , Mores , Ozieri , Ploaghe and Siligo .

The church of Santa Maria del Regno is located in the village .

The place was the residence of the Torres judiciary .
