Sedini (Sardinian: Sèddini ) is an Italian municipality ( comune ) with 1296 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Sassari in Sardinia . The municipality is located about 34 kilometers east-northeast of Sassari . It is about nine kilometers north to the Mediterranean Sea. The Grotta di Conchi is located in the municipality .

history

The historical Sedini was called Setini or Setin with the meaning of a refuge. The Domus de Janas by Sedini , known as "La Rocca", are still preserved in the center of the village, probably dating from the 4th and 3rd millennium BC Come from BC.
