Nughedu San Nicolò ( Sardinian : Nughèdu ) is an Italian municipality ( comune ) with 783 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Sassari in Sardinia . The municipality is located about 43.5 kilometers southeast of Sassari . In 2013 Nughedu was the only municipality in Italy without a connection to a cellular network.
