Santa Maria Coghinas (Sardinian: Santa Maria Cutzinas , Corsican: Cuzina ) is an Italian municipality ( comune ) with 1368 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Sassari in Sardinia . The municipality is located about 40 kilometers northeast of Sassari . The Coghinas forms the eastern boundary of the municipality. The neighboring municipalities are Bortigiadas , Bulzi , Perfugas , Sedini , Valledoria and Viddalba .
