The Velika Klekovača ( 1962  m ) (the altitude data differ between 1960 m and 1969 m) is the highest mountain in the west of Bosnia and Herzegovina after the Cincar . It is the highest peak of the Klekovača massif . The mountain is located about 65 kilometers southeast of the town of Bihać Bihać in the municipalities of Drvar and Petrovac . The inner-Bosnian border between the Republika Srpska and the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina runs over the height of the Klekovača .

The area surrounding the mountain consists of forests of conifers and beeches up to a height of around 1,500 m . You can find the edelweiss and the yellow gentian .
