Ozieri is a town in the Italian province of Sassari on the island of Sardinia with 10,334 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019).
The municipal area covers 252 km² and borders on Ardara , Chiaramonti , Erula , Ittireddu , Mores , Nughedu San Nicolò , Oschiri , Pattada and Tula .
history
One of the oldest cultures on the island, the Ozieri culture, is named after the place .
