San Teodoro is an Italian municipality in the province of Sassari on the island of Sardinia , about 20 km south of Olbia on the east coast. The city has 5026 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) and a size of about 105 km².

The city consists of the eight districts Budditogliu, La Traversa, Lu Fraili, Lu Lioni, Monti Pitrosu, Sitagliacciu, Straulas and Suaredda. The neighboring municipalities are Budoni , Loiri Porto San Paolo , Padru and Torpè ( NU ).

Beaches and marsh lakes

San Teodoro is best known for its beaches. The most important bathing destinations are Isuledda, Cala d'Ambra, La Cinta, Punta Aldia, Lu Impostu, Cala Brandinchi, Baia Salinedda, Cala Suaraccia, Cala Ginepro . Flamingos, birds of prey and coots live in the marshland behind the dunes of La Cinta.
