Cargeghe (Sassarese: Cagliègga ; Sardinian : Carzeghe ) is an Italian municipality ( comune ) with 617 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the north of the island of Sardinia in the province of Sassari . The municipality is located about 8.5 kilometers south-southeast of Sassari .
