Attractions

There are many remains of the Protonuragic and Nuragic periods near Arzachena . The nuragic settlement of Malchittu is interesting with some round huts and nuraghi remains, as well as the one from the 10th century BC. Malchittu temple dating from the 3rd century BC. The bizarre weathering of trachytes there and archaeological sites, which are often unique on the island, led to the fact that there was talk of an Arzachena culture for a while . Today it is clear that the monuments are only variants within the framework of the Sardinian cultures .
