Torsten Hahn
Torsten Hahn (* 1969 ) is a German specialist in German .
Life
After graduating in 2001 as Dr. phil. In 2001 he became a research assistant at the cultural studies research college for media and cultural communication. From 2001 to 2007 he was a research assistant. After his habilitation in 2007 ( Venia legendi for Modern German Literature and Media Studies), he was Senior Academic Councilor from 2007 to 2009 and Professor (W3) for Modern German Literature and Media Aesthetics at the FernUniversität in Hagen from 2009–2012 . In 2012 he was dean of the Faculty of Cultural and Social Sciences. From October 2012 he will be Professor of German Philology at the University of Cologne .
His main research interests are pop and / as surface, aesthetics and poetics: coding of literature / theory of form, media theory and literature and the political aspect of literature.
