Torsten Peuker
Torsten Peuker (* 1966 in Potsdam ) is a German journalist . Since March 1, 2017, he has been trimedial editor-in-chief of Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk (MDR).
Life
Peuker has worked for the MDR since 1991. He started there as a news editor for the State Broadcasting Corporation of Saxony. In 1994 he switched to the broadcaster's current affairs program, where he mainly worked as a reporter for the ARD political magazine Fakt . In May 2013 he temporarily took over the editorial management of MDR aktuell . He is the author of documentaries and reports for MDR, ARD and Arte . As the person responsible for the tri- media news desk set up in 2011 , Peuker coordinates the reporting on television, radio and new media.
