Toshikazu Katō ( Japanese 加藤 寿 一 Katō Toshikazu ; born May 28, 1981 in Hiroshima Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Katō learned to play football on the school team of Josuikan High School . He signed his first contract in 2000 with Avispa Fukuoka . The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . At the end of the 2001 season, the club was relegated to the J2 League . For the club he completed eight league games. In 2004 he moved to the third division Thespa Kusatsu . For the club he completed 15 league games. In 2005 he moved to league rivals Mitsubishi Mizushima FC . He then played for the V-Varen Nagasaki and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Nagasaki SC . At the end of 2014, he ended his career as a football player.
