Toshiki Hirano

Toshiki Hirano ( Japanese 平野 俊 貴 , Hirano Toshiki , actually: Toshihiro Hirano ( 平野 俊 弘 , Hirano Toshihiro ); born October 3, 1956 in Tokyo ) is a Japanese anime director , anime draftsman and character designer .

Toshiki Hirano studied graphic design and during this time began working for design firms such as Studio Number One and Wombat Studios . Working as an animator for an episode of Dr. Slump got a full-time job at Studio Io and later at Artland and AIC , where he worked as an animator for Macross and Urusei Yatsura . He gained fame through character design and directing original video animations . He is married to the anime and manga artist Narumi Kakinouchi , with whom he realized a large number of joint projects. Some of his works have appeared in the manga magazine Lemon People .
