The Tower Peak (English for spire ) is a 855 m ( 830 m according to the UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee ) high mountain on the Nordenskjöld coast of Graham Land on the Antarctic Peninsula . It rises from an ice field 8 km northwest of Longing Gap, visible from afar .
The Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey carried out measurements and descriptive naming in 1945.
