Trölladyngja is a mountain on the südwestisländischen Peninsula Reykjanes . It is a palagonite cone 275 m high.
The mountain is located west of Lake Kleifarvatn and has in a way grown together with another palagonite mountain, Grænadyngja (402 m). Both together are called Dyngjurnar. From its peaks there is a beautiful view of the Reykjanes peninsula.
Since this is the central volcano of the Krýsuvík volcanic system , it is surrounded by numerous craters and rows of craters.
The last eruptions in this volcanic system took place in the 12th (1151–1188) and probably again in the 14th century.
