The Tröllafoss ( isl. Tröll = "trolls", foss = "waterfall") is a waterfall in the area around the capital of Iceland .
This 10 m high waterfall in the Leirvogsá is about 2 km north of the Þingvallavegurs
, but can be reached via paths to the homesteads.
Trivia
Tröllafoss was the name of the Eimskip shipping company's largest ship at the time . It was built in Los Angeles in 1948 and sold to South Korea in 1964 , where it ran aground and was lost in 1973.
