Trịnh Công Sơn

Trịnh Công Sơn (born February 28, 1939 in Dak Lak ; † April 1, 2001 ) was a Vietnamese composer , poet and painter .

Trịnh Công Sơn is, along with Văn Cao and Phạm Duy, one of the three most important representatives of modern Vietnamese chanson . He composed more than 600 songs and was also known as the Bob Dylan of Vietnam due to his anti-war songs in the 1960s .
