Trabireiter is a band from Erfurt that was founded in 1994.

history

The band's music uses elements from punk , rock , Oi! and metal . She plays serious titles ( Death , Heroin ) as well as ironic and rather joking ones ( I'm becoming gay , submissive , my girlfriend ). In 2011 the band announced their breakup. In February 2015, the band announced their founding on Facebook. Two of the four band members (Heiko Hendrix and Torsten Presley) come from the old band line-up.

controversy

The band was partially classified under legal rock . One of their musicians was a founding member of the right-wing rock band "Brutale Haie" in the GDR . The first phonogram, released in 1992, had right-wing texts. At a performance in 1996 with the bands Rabauken and Chaoskrieger , the audience is said to have sung the Horst Wessel song . In an overview volume on skinheads from 2002, however, the band was viewed as apolitical.
