Die Rabauken was a German Oi! -Band that operated until 2001. It was founded at the beginning of the 1990s by the brothers Mario and Bernd Zippel in Erkrath . The latter was also a member of the band Lost Boys .

Its musical origins lay in the English punk and Oi movement in the early 80s, with bands like Peter and the Test Tube Babies , Toy Dolls , Cockney Rejects and Stiff Little Fingers .

The band was always said to have a connection to the neo-Nazi scene, although this accusation was vehemently denied by the band.

"Bernd", singer and guitarist of the band, took up the accusation again in an interview with the apolitical skinhead website Oi-Vision.de on June 10, 2001 and referred to the song "Revolution", in which the band was clear in his opinion Takes a position against any political radicals. The band sees itself as apolitical, the much criticized song “Our Fatherland” is an expression of patriotic pride, but far from being right-wing extremist.

The Office for the Protection of the Constitution of North Rhine-Westphalia first found out about the band in 1993 at a celebration of a Young National Democrat member. According to information from the Office for the Protection of the Constitution, some of the seven concerts that have become known between 1996 and 2001 were said to have resulted in "shouts of victory and salvation" and the "Hitler salute" being shown. At a gig with the bands Trabireiter and Chaoskrieger the audience sang the Horst Wessel song . Albums by the bullies were also offered in right-wing extremist distributors such as Hanse Records or White Music. In addition, the band was accused of working with right-wing extremist bands. Oliver Lange, a former band member, also played for a while in the right-wing extremist band Starkstrom.
