Jan Raabe

Jan Raabe (* 1965 ) is a German social pedagogue and author . He is considered a “ right-wing extremist ” and “ right-wing rock expert” and is co-editor and author of the standard work RechtsRock .

Life

Jan Raabe studied social pedagogy and graduated with a diploma. He is active in youth work and has also been analyzing the development of neo-Nazism since the mid-1990s ; His work focuses on right-wing youth cultures and right-wing extremist music . Raabe is involved, among other things, as a speaker for the Bielefeld association Arguments & Culture against Laws. V. at numerous lectures and information events, such as at schools. Together with the social scientist Christian Dornbusch , he published the anthology RechtsRock in 2002 . Inventory and counter-strategy , which also contains several articles written by him together with Dornbusch. The publication developed into the standard work on "Rechtsrock".

Since then, Raabe has published a large number of books and magazines on this topic as well as on related topics. Among other things, he is co-author of the books Braune Kameradschaften (2004), RechtsRock - Made in Sachsen-Anhalt (2007) and 88 questions and answers about the NPD (2008).
