Patrick De Meyer is a Belgian musician, composer and record producer. De Meyer became known under the pseudonym Tragic Error in the early 1990s . In the following years he composed and produced tracks for Technotronic , T99 , Daisy Dee and 2 Unlimited . De Meyer is considered a pioneer in the Belgian techno scene.
life and work
De Meyer started his career with the project Tragic Error and the title Tanzen . The project is considered a milestone for the New Beat . With the formation T99 he was able to achieve number 14 in the British charts with the title in 1990 . The greatest success of his activity was the title Pump Up The Jam by the Technotronic group . The title went triple platinum and ranked second on the Billboard Hot 100 charts. The title sold around 3.5 million times.
With Daisy Dee , De Meyer was able to achieve success in Holland and in German-speaking countries with Crazy and Pump It All the Way Up . De Meyer wrote the title Twilight Zone for Gruppe 2 Unlimited . The title sold excellently internationally. The title reached second place in Great Britain, twentieth in Germany, fifteenth in Switzerland, tenth in Austria and third in Spain.
