Transcarga International Airways CA is a Venezuelan cargo airline that is particularly active in the local charter business.

history

Transcarga International Airways was founded on October 21, 1998. The first flight took place in November 2001. The largest shareholder is Julio Marquez Biaggi, who owns 99% of the shares.

In 2002 the airline received approval to operate charter flights to the USA. Since then she has been flying regularly as a subcharter for other logistics service providers such as DHL or Fedex.

Transcarga mainly transports time-sensitive goods such as fruit or mail.

A Panamanian subsidiary, Cargo Three, was founded in 2020. This subsidiary has already taken over an Airbus A300. Another is being planned. The group will then operate four A300B4s.
